Babineaux named A-Sun player of the week

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Kori Babineaux's impressive week helped the Dolphins move into a tie for first place in the Atlantic Sun. The senior guard averaged 25 PPG, 5 RPG & 6 APG and was named the A-Sun player of the week.

After going 2-0 this week the Dolphins have now won five straight games for the first time since the 2010-11 season.

"I think we've got more weapons offensively and defensively right now than we've ever had," said Dolphins coach Tony Jasick. "We've got a group of guys that can all come in and contribute. Some guys may play two or three minutes, some may play eight or nine, and some may play 35, and our team doesn't have a big ego when it comes to that stuff."

The Dolphins continue their road trip next week with a Thursday evening game at Lipscomb and a Saturday afternoon tip at Kennesaw State.
