JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – After going 0-2 at home last week Tony Meola made a change to the Armada roster on Friday, by trading midfielder Richie Ryan to Miami FC for cash considerations.

Ryan started in all five NASL Spring Season matches for the Armada, recording an assist and two shots in 450 minutes of action.

“I want to thank Richie Ryan for his contributions to the Armada FC,” said Tony Meola, Armada FC head coach and technical director. “He is a consummate professional, and I wish him the best in Miami. We continue to shape our roster to win in the near and long term. This move creates opportunities for us to improve certain elements of our game.”

The Jacksonville Armada (1W-1D-3L, 4 pts) will hit the road for a showdown with Minnesota United FC (3W-1D-1L, 10 pts) at 8 p.m. ET on Saturday. The Loons are unbeaten in their last four matches while the Armada are still searching for their first road win in franchise history.

News and Notes:

- Jacksonville is averaging 57.6 percent of ball possession this year, the highest total in the NASL.

 - Jacksonville has only scored twice from inside the box this year, the lowest in the league. Minnesota has scored eight times from inside the box this year, tied for second highest in the league.
