Myles Jack signs rookie deal with Jaguars

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jaguars announced on Friday that they’ve signed second-round draft pick Myles Jack. According to ESPN the deal is worth $6.3 million and includes a $2.8 million signing bonus.

With Jack under contract, Jalen Ramsey (first-round), Yannick Ngakoue (third-round), and Sheldon Day (fourth-round) are the only 2016 Jaguars draft picks that haven’t been signed.

Coming into the draft Jack was considered worthy of a top 10 pick. He fell to the Jaguars at 36th overall because of concerns surrounding his right knee. That drop will cost Jack millions in the short term, but he will become a free agent a year earlier than all of this year’s first round picks.
