Florida State punches ticket to Women's College World Series

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – One run away from a Women's College World Series berth last season, the Florida State Seminoles left no doubt this year as they swept Utah in the NCAA Super Regional, two games to none to advance to the WCWS.

Thanks to Jessica Warren's 18th home run of the year, a two-run shot in the 3rd inning, and another shutout from their starting pitcher, Meghan King, the Seminoles are on their way to Oklahoma City for the 9th time in school history.  They have yet to win the national championship in any of their eight previous trips.
