Jaguars sell out regular season opener against Packers

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Jaguars announced today that single game tickets are sold out for the regular season opener versus the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, Sept. 11 at EverBank Field.  Very limited inventory remains as part of season ticket packages.  Additionally, the Jaguars will be releasing 150 standing-room-only tickets this week on www.jaguars.com.

“We have a great slate of home opponents this season, beginning with the Green Bay Packers,” said Chad Johnson, senior vice president of sales and service for the Jaguars.  “Pricing for single game Green Bay tickets on the secondary market is already averaging four times the season ticket holder per-game rate.  Season tickets remain the most cost-effective option for fans wanting to experience game day at EverBank Field this fall.”

The Jaguars are scheduled to play six games against playoff teams from 2015: Green Bay, Kansas City, Denver, Minnesota and Houston (twice). Three of those five teams advanced to the divisional round (Green Bay, Kansas City and Denver), with Denver winning Super Bowl 50. Four of those six games will be played at EverBank Field, beginning with Green Bay on Sept. 11.

“Football is back and our fans are fired up and ready to go,” said Johnson.  “Beyond ticket sales, we’ve seen huge interest in all our fan-focused events this summer, a sure sign of the energy building around the First Coast as we approach the season opener.”
