Packers WR Nelson 'full go' against Jaguars

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – When the Green Bay Packers open the regular season on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars, quarterback Aaron Rodgers will have his favorite receiver.

After missing all of last season with a torn ACL, Jordy Nelson won’t have any restrictions against the Jaguars.

"Jordy's full go," said Packers coach Mike McCarthy according to a report by ESPN. "And we expect him to line up and be full bore in Jacksonville."

Nelson did not play at all during the preseason. After opening training camp on the physically unable to perform list, Nelson participated in his first full practice last week.

In 2014 Nelson’s 1,519 receiving yards were good for fourth in the NFL. His 13 receiving touchdowns that year was second best in the NFL, trailing only Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant (16).
