Brunell played quarterback for the Jaguars from 1995-2003 and in 2013 was inducted into the Pride of the Jaguars, the team’s Hall of Fame equivalent.

Jaguars defensive tackle Malik Jackson will become the only active Jaguar player providing behind the scenes stories and “best of” reports in a segment called, The Jackson Five. Jackson joined the Jaguars this offseason as one of the team’s primary free agent targets after helping the Denver Broncos win Super Bowl XLVIII.

“As the official station of the Jags, we’ve taken our coverage to the next level," said WJXT General Manager Bob Ellis. "Mark and Malik will be delivering entertaining insider stories that you simply can’t get anywhere else.  Jacksonville fans are going to love these stories. Their insider knowledge and desire to tell the story beyond the X’s and O’s is fantastic.”

The segments begin next week and will complement the reporting done by News4JAX sports director and Jaguars pre-season play-by-play voice Sam Kouvaris’ work both on TV and on News4Jax.com.
