The Gators finished the tournament at -4. Liberty (+9) and Arkansas (+13) rounded out the top three. Locally Jacksonville University finished in sixth place (+17) and North Florida wound up tied for seventh with Florida State (+18).

"We had some good and bad golf again today,” said UNF head golf coach Scott Schroeder. “The last two rounds we had three good scores and two awful scores for the most part. We have to get all the guys to grind and work to post a decent score. It is a process we hope to learn from so that we are ready to play next weekend at the Gator Invitational.”

For the Dolphins, Ryan Jahn carded a career best 67 in the first round on Monday. Jahn finished the tournament tied for eighth place at +2.

“I think my expectations were a little bit too high today,” said Jahn who shot a 75 in round three. “I was trying to push it a little bit in those first couple of holes. Other than that my swing felt good and I was happy with my play.”
