Jaguars release CB Davon House

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – On Monday the Jacksonville Jaguars announced that they have released cornerback Davon House. As a free agent in 2015, House signed a four-year, $24.5 million deal with the Jaguars. He was a starter during the 2015 season and set a single-season franchise record with 23 passes defensed.

House fell out of favor in 2016 and was benched for most of the season, he was slated to make $6 million in 2017.

He was originally drafted by Green Bay in the fourth round of the 2011 NFL Draft. House has appeared in 73 career games with 33 starts, and has produced career totals of 150 tackles (122 solo), 2.0 sacks, 60 passes defensed and six INTs.
