Florida vs. Wake Forest delayed again

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – So far seven of the eight spots in the 2017 College World Series have been claimed. Mother Nature is doing her best to keep that number at seven for as long as possible.

On Monday afternoon Wake Forest beat Florida 8-6 to force a winner take all game in their best of three NCAA regional. Just three innings into game three the rains came pouring down in Gainesville one again.

Right now Florida has a 3-1 lead in the top of the third inning. News4Jax meteorologist Rebecca Barry says she expects the weather to clear up eventually and the game should resume soon.
