JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – From the moment Jonathan Isaac stepped on campus in Tallahassee he was projected to be a NBA lottery pick. Thursday night that prediction came true when the former Florida State forward was taken No. 6 overall by the Orlando Magic in the 2017 NBA Draft
At 6-foot-11, with guard like skills, Isaac may have the highest ceiling in the draft. His range extends to the three-point-arc but at only 205 pounds he needs to add weight.
As a freshman with the Seminoles, Isaac averaged 12 point, 7.8 rebounds and shot 51 percent from the field and 35 percent from three point range.
Iasac is the second Florida State player in as many years to go one and done. Then Denver Nuggets selected Malik Beasley No. 19 overall in the 2016 NBA Draft.
