Irma forces FSU to change kickoff Saturday to Noon

Game was orginally scheduled for 7pm

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Florida State has moved their game against Louisiana-Monroe to a noon kickoff Saturday according to university sources.

The game was originally slated for a 7 p.m. kickoff but concerns over Hurricane Irma caused the two university's to move the kickoff up due to safety concerns for fans and others traveling to and from the game.

Channel 4 will televise the game and have a pregame show at 11:30 a.m. and a postgame show immediately after the game.

The game marks the debut of freshman quarterback James Blackman who takes over for Deondre Francois who suffered a season-ending knee injury against Alabama.
