Jaguars Ramsey to wear custom cleats honoring Vegas shooting victims

The cleats will be auctioned off to raise money for victims' fund, team says

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey will be rocking a custom pair of cleats on Sunday in honor of those killed in the Las Vegas mass shooting over the weekend.

At least 59 people were killed and over 500 others wounded Oct. 1 when a gunman opened fire on a crowd of concert-goers at the Route 91 Harvest, a 3-day country music festival.

On Friday, the Jaguars posted a tweet showing off the custom cleats, which feature a depiction of the iconic "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas" sign.

The cleats, a pair of Jordan XIIIs, were customized by Kickasso, a Los Angeles-based artist who makes custom shoes and clothing for Ramsey and other NFL stars, USA TODAY reports.

Ramsey plans to auction off the footwear afterward and the proceeds will go to the victims' fund.
