Andrew Luck will open training camp on PUP

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Colts quarterback Andrew Luck will be placed on the physically unable to perform list when the team opens training camp on Saturday.

Luck had surgery to repair a partially torn labrum in his right shoulder and only began throwing last week. The Colts are taking the conservative approach with Luck. It's still unclear when he will be cleared to practice but general manager Chris Ballard said that there have been no setbacks since Luck had surgery.

Their expectation is that Luck will be ready for the regular season.

The Jaguars will face the Colts on Oct. 22 and Dec. 3.
