JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – When Commissioner Gordon needs Gotham's masked hero, he illuminates the Bat Signal. When the Jaguars need their fans to turn out for the start of a game, they'll fire up the Cat Signal.
With a three-game homestand beginning Sunday against the Colts, the Jaguars have created a visual call to action that will include fireworks launched from the south endzone video board when players conclude warmups, 25 minutes before kickoff. The team hopes that the cat signal will prompt fans to head to their seats and be in place in advance of team introductions, Jaxson de Ville's pregame bungee jump and the opening kickoff.
The team said that guest services team members are prepped and ready to help fans get through security and find their seats as quickly as possible.
“From warmups, to introductions, to the opening kickoff, until the final whistle, we need to feel your energy so we can keep the place rocking," Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey said. "As players, we on the field are going to give everything we have, and we need the same from you, our fans. On behalf of my teammates, we have felt the passion of the stadium when it’s at its loudest, and we need that each and every play this weekend. We are so appreciative of your loyalty and we can’t wait to see everyone on Sunday. Let’s be sure to make this a December to remember in Duval."
The Jaguars enter Sunday's game tied with the Tennessee Titans atop the AFC South with a record of 7-4. After hosting the Colts, the Jaguars will welcome the Seattle Seahawks and Houston Texans to EverBank Field before finishing the season on the road at San Francisco and Tennessee.
