JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Two Jaguars defensive starters, cornerback Jalen Ramsey and defensive tackle Malik Jackson, did not practice on Wednesday as the team prepared for Sunday's road game against the New York Jets.

Ramsey has been limited in practice the past two weeks with an ankle injury, but has not missed any time in games. This past Sunday, Ramsey collected his first interception of the year as the Jaguars beat the Ravens 44-7 in London.

Jackson was credited with a half-sack Sunday against Baltimore when he combined with Calais Campbell on a takedown of Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco.

Three other players did not practice for the Jaguars on Wednesday: wide receiver Jaelen Strong, who is fighting a hamstring injury and linebackers Donald Payne (hamstring) and Lerentee McCray (knee).

Three offensive starters were listed on the injury report for the Jaguars, including quarterback Blake Bortles, who's right wrist injury has been nagging him all month. Center Brandon Linder (knee) and left tackle Cam Robinson (shoulder) were also listed, as they were last week in advance of the Jaguars win in London.
