Jaguars fans enjoy NFL party in London

Trafalgar Square had plenty of Jaguars fans celebrating on Saturday

LONDON - If you wanted to come to London to have a good time, the NFL fan rally was the place to be, with more NFL fans than you could shake a stick at repping their team.

American football is becoming a big deal in London. People who don't even speak English came to the event and cheered for their favorite players.

Of course, Trafalgar Square had plenty of Jaguars fans, some making the 4,000-mile trip from Florida, others who live in London.

But sports knows no languages or nationalities. The music, the cheerleaders and the players had everyone reeling.

Fans of the 49ers came in droves, also to enjoy the one-of-a-kind atmosphere.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell got a lot of cheers, and so did the teams when they came out. The Jaguars might've gotten a better reception in London than in the States.

Player Jeremy Mincey was thrilled.

"The atmosphere out here is amazing, man. The architecture, the people, the food, they're all great," said Mincey. "We love them back. Let them know that."

Now less than 24 hours away from kickoff at Wembley Stadium, fans mix in with the locals on the streets and in the tube.

While they didn't want Saturday to end, they said they can't wait for Sunday's game.

The next stop on the festivities list is the Hard Rock Cafe where the Jaguars local fan club, the Union Jax, is hosting a party.
