JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Injuries are part of life in the NFL. Through 11 games the Jacksonville Jaguars had the luxury of having zero defensive starters miss a game due to injury. That will change in week 13.

Linebacker Telvin Smith suffered a concussion during last week’s loss to the Arizona Cardinals and on Friday the Jaguars ruled him out for Sunday’s home game against the Indianapolis Colts.

With Smith out Blair Brown will make his first career NFL start. In nickel situations Paul Posluszny will likely join Myles Jack at linebacker.

The Jaguars will also continue to mix and match their offensive line. Josh Wells suffered a concussion during practice this week and will be out for Sunday’s game. Offensive lineman Patrick Omameh (quad) and Jermey Parnell (knee) are both listed as questionable.

Wide receiver Allen Hurns will miss his third straight game with an ankle injury.
