Puerto Rico vs. Armada postponed until July 12

Heavy rains the last two days made field unplayable

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Mother Nature would not be denied as the Puerto Rico FC vs. Armada FC soccer match was postponed until July 12 after days of heavy rain made the field at UNF unplayable.

The two teams will play two games in four days next month. The Armada will travel to Puerto Rico on July 8 before the two teams come back to Jacksonville.

Fans who purchased tickets for the game originally scheduled to be played Sunday will be able to use them for the July 12 game.

The Armada are currently in 4th place in the NASL sitting 11 points behind first place Miami FC. They have a game in hand on the top three teams and Puerto Rico is in last place with just one win in 12 games.

The Armada host FC Edmonton Saturday night at 7 p.m. at UNF's Hodges Field.
