UCLA QB Josh Rosen declares for NFL draft

UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen has decided to forgo his senior season and enter the NFL, a report on NFL.com said.

Rosen tweeted a statement on Wednesday thanking coaches, fans and teammates.

During the 2017 season, Rosen passed for 3,717 yard, 26 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. The Bruins finished the season with a 6-7 record. 

Rosen's 2017 stats were the best of his college career, according to Sports Reference.

The quarterback didn't play in the Cactus Bowl. ESPN reports Rosen was recovering from a concussion sustained in UCLA's last regular season game.

The concussion was the second Rosen sustained during the season, ESPN said. Rosen missed a game on Nov. 3 due to the injury.
