The Popular dating app Tinder is opening its service to the transgender community.
Company officials say the app will soon allow users to select other gender choices and dating preferences. Right now the app gives users the choice of either male or female for their profile and dating choices. Some users have reported being banned from Tinder because they identify as transgender.

Tinder officials say they are working with activists and advisers to help the app be more welcoming. Company CEO Sean Rad says the change is the right thing to do.
