Universal Orlando to hire 2,000 workers

ORLANDO, Fla. – Universal Orlando is set to hire 2,000 new employees for positions throughout the Central Florida resort.

The Orlando Business Journal says the jobs will be full-time, part-time and seasonal positions.

Universal has already hired almost 1,700 employees to staff its new Volcano Bay water park; now the resort is looking to fill jobs in all areas, including attractions, food services, culinary, security and many more.

Those interested in attending one of several Universal job fairs throughout the month of May should log on to the resort's employment website for more information.

Disney announced last month that it will be hiring 1,000 new jobs for the Walt Disney World resort.
