Woman says she was scammed out of getting dog, asked to send nude photos
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. Like any dog owner, Katelyn Inman is pretty biased when she says shes got the best dog. But when the couple decided that they could not longer get a dog, they asked for their money back. Tom Stephens, president of the Better Business Bureau of Northeast Florida, said hes received 10 reports of puppy scams in the last two weeks. And then Ill send you $200."Inman said the texter didnt just ask for nude photos once, but multiple times. Dont send money until you see the puppy, Inman said.
Alabama man shows up at Vilano Beach rental home only to find out it's not for rent
The home in Vilano Beach -- according to Orestes Hernandez, of Shelby, Alabama -- appeared in a Craigslist ad as a rental property. Hernandez said he spoke by phone with the Craigslist poster, who identified himself as a Kissimmee, Florida, man. Hernandez said he then sent the Craigslist poster $4,100 through PayPal. Instead of going out and working hard to earn money, they (would) rather sit behind a screen and rob people of their hard-earned money," Hernandez said. The investigation revealed that the Craigslist poster was using a Google phone number that had been previously reported to law enforcement.

AUBURN, California (CNN) - After 16 hours pushing through the world's most rigorous endurance horse race, 18-year-old Sanoma Blakeley and her horse Goober were sprinting all-out under a black sky in California's Gold Rush country. Blakeley, meanwhile, was striding atop a horse her family found for free on Craigslist. 'You get out what you put in,' Blakeley saysEight years ago, Blakeley's father Wasch answered a Craigslist ad offering the horse up for free. The family owns Blakeley Endurance Stables, where Goober is one of seven horses under their care.
