4 art exhibitions unveiled as part of โLift Every Voice' project
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. โ Four large-scale art exhibitions were unveiled Saturday in Jacksonville. The exhibitions are part of the โLift Every Voiceโ project, which kicked off in August and will wrap up in November. "So as soon as people found out about this project, theyโve been reaching out to us, and also weโve been reaching out to them because we think itโs important to have these community leaders be part of this project.โBy the end of the project, Art Republic will have contributed 50 public artworks to the community.

City of Jacksonville inches forward on planned San Marco Publix
JACKSONVILLE, Fla โ A project nearly two decades in the making will take a little longer to complete. The project to build a Publix in San Marco was originally designed as a 57,000 square foot structure. The latest plan shows the Publix grocery on the second floor and a parking garage on the first. San Marco residents have been eager to welcome Publix in the area, with some reaching out to urge the developers to build while others behind a โLetโs Get It Rightโ campaign urging responsible, smart growth. More changes could be on the way after Tuesdayโs land-use hearing, which is expected to discuss the plan for the San Marco development at 1 p.m.
