JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Two crashes left a stretch of Lem Turner Road shut down Tuesday, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
One crash was at Lem Turner and Percy roads, and the other was at Lem Turner and Pace roads.

The first crash was a head-on collision that left at least two people hurt. The second crash involved a car that was trying to turn around from the back-up and was struck by a semi.
One person was taken to a hospital from the second crash. None of the injuries were life-threatening.
All lanes north and southbound of Lem Turner Road were closed between Interstate 295 and Braddock Road, but reopened around 11:45 a.m.
