I-95 Overland Bridge Project detours scheduled Saturday through Friday

Hendricks, Montana, Kings avenues; Park, Stockton streets; I-95 ramps affected

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Several roads and ramps will be closed Saturday through Friday as work continues on the Interstate 95 Overland Bridge project, the Florida Department of Transportation said.

The following closures and detours will be in place:

  • Hendricks Avenue under I-95 will be closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Saturday through Thursday. Northbound traffic will be detoured to Gray Street, Kings Avenue and Louisa Street. Southbound traffic will be routed to Louisa Street, Kings Avenue and Nira Street.
  • Montana Avenue under I-95 will be shut down from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Saturday through Thursday. Northbound traffic will be detoured to Manning Street, Kings Avenue, Prudential Drive and Broadcast Place. Southbound traffic will be detoured to Broadcast Place and Southampton Road, around the Atlantic Boulevard ramp to Kings Avenue.
  • Kings Avenue under I-95 will be blocked from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Saturday through Thursday. Northbound traffic will be detoured to Nira Street, Hendricks Avenue and Louisa Street. Southbound traffic will be routed to Louisa Street, Hendricks Avenue and Gary Street.
  • The Park Street ramp onto southbound I-95 will be closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Saturday through Friday. The southbound detour will be Riverside Park Place and Riverside Avenue to the Acosta Bridge. The northbound detour is Forest Street and Riverside Avenue to the Acosta Bridge.
  • The Stockton Avenue ramp onto southbound I-95 will be closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday through Friday. The detour will be Forest Street and Riverside Avenue to the Acosta Bridge.
  • Southbound I-95 will detour to westbound Interstate 10 and McDuff Avenue from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday through Friday.
