JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Three crashes involving three semitractor-trailers and more than a dozen vehicles shut down northbound Interstate 295 near Pulaski Road in Northeast Jacksonville for several hours Tuesday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Traffic was diverted onto Alta Drive.

The crashes were reported just after 3:30 p.m. and all lanes reopened at about 7:30 p.m.
According to FHP, a semitruck lost control and collided with another semitruck. After the initial collision, the first semitruck continued on I-295 and crashed into a third semitruck and about a dozen cars.
A woman and two children were transported to a hospital with minor injuries, FHP said.
