FHP: 16-year-old driver hits trooper's marked car
Trooper not injured in Baker County crash, FHP says
BAKER COUNTY, Fla. – A Florida Highway Patrol trooper's marked car was hit Friday morning when he tried to make a traffic stop in Baker County, according to an FHP report.
Trooper James Barber was turning left on County Road 125, attempting to make a traffic stop, when the left side of his car was hit by a passing Nissan Sentra.
The 16-year-old driver of the Sentra was taken to Fraser Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. It's unclear if she will be charged in the crash.
Barber was not injured.
