JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A driver was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries Thursday morning after a crash involving a school bus in Northwest Jacksonville.
The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department reported the driver of a car was trapped in the vehicle after the accident at the intersection of Owen Avenue and Moncrief Road.
Two students were on board the school bus when the crash happened. One of the students was evaluated by first responders as a precautionary measure. The high school students were headed to a magnet school.
