JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Interstate 295 southbound near Pritchard Road was closed Friday afternoon until firefighters put out the flames coming from an SUV.
The vehicle was in flames just before 4 p.m. The fire grew until a Jacksonville Fire-Rescue truck arrived, but was put out quickly. One southbound lane reopened about 4:45 p.m. and the second by 5:30 p.m.
