ATLANTIC BEACH, Fla. – A 45-year-old man was seriously injured in a crash involving his motorcycle and another vehicle on Mayport Road Monday evening, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The crash was reported just before 8 p.m. and blocked all lanes of Mayport Road at State Road A1A for several hours.

Dwayne Crafton was driving his motorcycle southbound on SR-A1A when he was hit by a car that was making a left turn from northbound SR-A1A to the Mayport Apartments complex, troopers said.
Crafton was thrown from his motorcycle onto the roadway and had to be airlifted to UF Health after suffering critical injuries, troopers said.
The driver of the car had no injuries.
The Highway Patrol said charges are pending.
