Motorcyclist killed in crash on I-95 in St. Johns County


ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – A Jacksonville motorcyclist was killed early Thursday morning on Interstate 95 in St. Johns County.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, 42-year-old Corey Strigler was riding north on I-95 near International Golf Parkway about 2:25 a.m. when the front of his motorcycle hit the back of a Buick Century. Strigler was thrown from his bike and died on scene.

The Jacksonville woman driving the Buick and two adult passengers were not injured. They  remained on scene while FHP conducted its investigation.
