4 hurt in crash with crushed cars on I-95 at 8th Street

FHP says 7 vehicles involved, but none of injuries are life-threatening

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Four people were hurt Monday, but none critically when a car switched lanes in front of a tractor-trailer on Interstate 95, causing a wreck involving seven vehicles, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers said the driver of the car that cut off the southbound semi just before Eighth Street was among those injured.

The accident was reported about 12:45 p.m. and kept closed three southbound and one northbound lane closed until about 3 p.m.
