Man seriously hurt in Clay County crash

CLAY COUNTY, Fla. - Two people were injured, one seriously, in a three-car crash in Clay County on Tuesday morning, according to the Clay County Sheriff's Office.

The crash happened on Brannanfield Road near an overpass by Oakleaf High School at about 10 a.m.

The man who was seriously injured was flown to a hospital. A woman involved in the crash suffered minor injuries.

The road was closed for about two hours while deputies and Jacksonville police rerouted traffic onto Oakleaf Plantation Parkway while the crash was cleared.

The Florida Highway Patrol was investigating the crash.
