Man was rear-ended while pulling into driveway

A man was seriously injured after being rear-ended on US 441. The impact forced his car to flip at least once.

OCALA, Fla. – A man was seriously injured Saturday in a collision on U.S. Highway 441 at Northwest 56th Street, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Daniel Len Kissner, 36, was rear-ended at about 1:25 p.m. by Lequanda Lamar-Poole, 38, as he was trying to pull his car into a private driveway, troopers said.

According to the police report, witnesses told troopers that Lamar-Poole failed to slow down and slammed into Kissner, causing his car to flip at least once.

Lamar-Poole suffered minor injuries in the crash. She and Kissner were taken to Ocala Regional Medical Center for treatment.
