Police ID woman who died in wreck on Saturday

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - A passenger in a car who died Saturday night after being ejected when an out-of-control vehicle overturned several times has been identified as 30-year-old Jasmine Honn.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office says a vehicle on Interstate 295 approaching the exit ramp for Zoo Parkway about 8:40 p.m. drifted into the center media and the driver overcorrected, causing the vehicle to spin, leave the road and gown down an embankment and overturn several times before coming to rest on the exit ramp.

Police said Honn was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The name of the driver and other details were not released. Traffic homicide detectives are still investigating the accident.
