‘I was really proud’: Families pay homage to fallen soldiers at Memorial Day Observance Ceremony

Many people started Saturday morning by paying homage to those who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect the United States. The annual Memorial Day Observance Ceremony was held at the Jacksonville National Cemetery, which is something that has taken place every year since 2009.
