JACKSONVILLE, Fla – Feeling the heat. Not since last October will we have had a stretch of afternoon highs well into the 80s, like we will see this weekend. Add to that a great deal of sunshine. The combination could lead to some significant sunburn and happy, relaxed faces. This weekends highlights include: Woodbine, Georgia Crawfish Festival, this includes an early morning 5k through Woodbine. Crawfish too! There will be a major March of Dimes walk early Saturday morning. This will be downtown. Also downtown, at the Fairgrounds will be a 3-day long Mega Pet Adoption event.
