Expect passing showers

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – After topping out in the upper 70s under mostly cloudy skies, the rain is already pushing through Southeast Georgia. Expect increasing chances for rain overnight as passing showers creep further South through out the overnight hours.

Expect passing showers during the overnight hours tonight mainly to the north of I 10. An unsettled weather pattern is moving throughout the Southeast and we will see chances for rain over the next 24 hours from it.

Overnight those passing showers will creep southward. Expect overall rainfall totals over the past 48 hours to range between a quarter of an inch up to an inch and a half with heavy rainfall totals to the north of the state line.

Under mostly cloudy skies today our temperatures will warm into the 60s Monday under mostly cloudy skies. Along I 75 temperatures will climb into the low 80s despite the mostly cloudy skies. Winds Monday will be light out of the west around 5 mph.

Daytime chances for rain will increase area wide as the showers begin to creep further southward. Waking up soggy on Monday we will see 70% coverage of the showers on Monday with passing shower through the early afternoon hours.
