JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The 2017 GreaterJacksonville Agricultural Fair opens tonight at 5:00p.m. The temperatures will be in the mid 70s for the first people to experience the Ferris wheel and grab some cotton candy. Skies will be clear and the winds will be between 5-10mph out of the East.
By 6:00p.m. the temperatures will begin to cool, down to 72°. There is no chance for rain this evening and the winds will be out of the East at 8mph at that point.
By the time the Walker McGuire concert starts at 8:00p.m. the temperatures will break into the mid 60s, making for light jacket weather- especially if you are using your unlimited rides wristband for the higher velocity rides.
By 9:00p.m. its time to dig into some serious fair food and you'll need sleeves at this point. The temperatures drop into the lower 60s this hour and the easterly winds fade to 5mph.
The fair closes at 11:00p.m. tonight and if you shut it down, the temperatures will be around 60° under clear skies with a bright, near-full moon.
