Study links temperature association with personality

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The phrase you have a bright sunny smile may have some scientific science behind it.

new study in the journal Nature this week suggests that warm sunny weather like what we often get here in Jacksonville can shape our personalty in a good way.

The study looked at people in the U.S. and China and found that people who grew up in warmer climates are more friendly,open, and more outgoing.

The study suggests 72 degrees is the ideal temperature and growing up in zip codes with milder temperatures may be the single biggest determining factor of our personality traits. 

People tend to socialize more in warmer climates because it easier for people to get outside and explore new things.

As the planet continues to warm it may mean more friendly people across the planet.
