Evening showers then winter strikes back

Not just the chill ahead but wet weather too

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Changes on the way and winter strikes back after our nice weekend.

Today is starts out nearly perfect with mostly sunny skies and  comfortable temperatures in the 60s. Pleasant temperatures warm to 80 this afternoon with even more warmth at the beaches compared to Saturday.

Clouds increase this afternoon and showers will pass through this evening. 

Look for a 60% chance of showers by late afternoon and evening especially around 5-7 pm.

Highs will be just a couple degrees warmer than yesterday in the low to mid 80s with SW wind 10 mph.

Monday’s high of the day will likely be at 12:01 am as cold air funnels our way through the afternoon. 

80% rain and wind starts early Monday morning and does not let up all day.

NE winds pick up to 20-25 and it should be rainy through the day and into the evening as a low develops over Florida.

Nor'easter next week will be more wet and less wind than the last nor'easter we had...

Tuesday starts out in the chilly low 50s with showers. Temperatures will only make it into the upper 60s as the rain winds down by the afternoon.

As the low pressure storm moves out to sea windy and wet conditions Monday and Tuesday give way to dry mid-week conditions with moderating temps by the end of the work week.  

Wednesday will be less breezy and sunny, with chilly morning temperatures in the upper 40s and afternoon highs in the cool low 70s. Expect northeasterly winds around 15 mph. 

The mild temperatures return Thursday and Friday, topping out in the upper 70s and low 80s.
