As of Monday afternoon, more than 120 hurricane shelters had opened across Florida as residents flee the potential path and impacts of Hurricane Dorian.

The shelters were housing 10,544 people statewide, according to FloridaDisaster.org. In Duval County, the Red Cross reported 254 people were housed in one of the dozen shelters in Jacksonville.
