Get the weekend waves before they flatten next week

Surf forecast

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Several days of onshore winds should lighten up, making for smaller but better surf Friday and into the weekend.

Friday is the biggest at 3-4 feet but NE winds at 15 is keeping the surf pretty choppy with some semi-clean groundswell lines. Surf may clean up by the evening.

Saturday should be pretty good! Winds turn light and easterly with cleaner surf dropping to 2-3 feet in a solid longer period 13 second NE swell. Should line up well through the day.

Sunday: 1-2 feet and glassy in the morning before a stronger late afternoon sea breeze develops out of the SE at 10-15 mph.

Monday through Tuesday any swell fades to 1-2 foot with light easterly winds.

Wednesday offshore west winds and dwindling 1' surf.
