Tropical moisture to move in mid-week

It’s a nice night with mostly clear skies and unusually dry weather. The wet pattern is on hold until Tuesday.

Temperatures will feel comfortable in the 70s this evening with an early morning touch of 60s west of Jackonville to the low to mid 70s at the coast.

Lighter easterly breezes and more sunshine will warm us up into the upper 80s Monday.

Isolated showers are possible inland Tuesday afternoon and evening but rain will pick up Wednesday and Thursday as some tropical moisture works up the state from the Gulf of Mexico.

Tropical Storm Nicolas will be impacting the Texas coast and then up into Louisiana for most of the week as the system stalls across the northern Gulf.

It is unlikely to have any impact on our area.

Rain will likely increase by the middle to end of next week as we watch a tropical system develop in the Gulf.
