Severe storms are possible across southern Georgia Tuesday afternoon and evening. The greatest threat of tornadoes will be north of Waycross but isolated tornadoes and gusty winds could bare down to the state line tomorrow. Isolated strong or severe storms are possible across northeast Florida. Rain chances jump to 60%.

Showers continue Wednesday with thunderstorms in what will feel like a summer day as highs warm up into the upper 80s. The heat will break Thursday with a cold front that brings a final round of rain in the day. After it passes we see cooler temps Friday into the weekend with dry air returning.
