Storms on pause today until more active weather Friday

Holiday weekend brings a return to dry weather

Today will be the driest day of the week under partly cloudy skies. It will be warm but not excessively hot with the steady SE breeze blowing in at 10-15 mph today. Highs top out in the mid to upper 80s.

Rain today is confined to the FL panhandle and it will take until Friday to reach us with a cold front.

Tomorrow an isolated evening shower is possible over inland areas but Friday brings a greater chance 70% of rain areawide with some thunderstorms in the afternoon.

Highs tomorrow will be in the upper 80s to around 90 before dipping into the mid 80s Friday with the clouds and rain.

Highs on Saturday will be in the mid to upper 80s and lows will dip into the 60s over the weekend. Dry conditions last behind the front into Memorial Day.
