The night will be mostly dry after we get through some spotty inland showers. The beaches will stay dry all night but the risk for rain just before fireworks will be near Lake City and Gainesville. The east coast sea breeze has pushed past I-95 keeping areas east of it dry. Showers and storms will push into Union Bradford and Baker counties through 7 pm. Some of those areas could see heavy rainfall and frequent lightning strikes.

and storms are expected during the afternoons and evenings as they push toward the I-75 corridor. Rain chances peak at 30% in Jacksonville around 12-3 pm on Tuesday, but higher 40%, west of Highway 301 toward the late afternoon and evening.
High temperatures top out in the lower to middle 90s and the melting humidity will send the heat index values to 105 tomorrow and up to 108 on Wednesday.
