.

Drier conditions are here, and this is leading to a hotter day.

Temps will blast into the mid 90s inland and lower 90s at the coast. We will stay in the 90s from noon through 7 p.m. Friday. It will feel like 105° on the heat index under mostly to partly sunny skies.

Any showers will be very isolated in the early evening and they will be short-lived. Skies will be mostly clear this evening with temps in the lower to mid 70s Friday night.

All weekend high temperatures will be above normal in the mid to upper 90s inland and lower 90s along the coast. Dry air is here to stay, and rain is unlikely through Sunday.

Rain chances gradually increase by the middle part of next week as the heat relaxes slightly by Tuesday.
