Weather Authority Alert Day is in effect until 9 pm. Rain and storms will continue to increase into the evening. Increasing rain will impact your plans tonight as a front moves across the area this evening with strong to severe storms possible. The strongest storms will be north of I-10 late this afternoon and shift southward into the evening. Storms will be weaker around Jacksonville and south of I-10 toward sundown this evening.

The risk for tornadoes is low but gusty winds and small hail is possible.

Most likely area for severe storms with hail and gusty winds in yellow and red around 5-6 pm.
Rain stays mostly north of I-10 through 2 pm.
